If you’ve ever met a commonFonter, you know that our Bozeman, Montana office is home to thousands of miles of beautiful, picturesque trails for outdoor recreation. During the month of June, as the weather warms and our ski legs get itchy to move, we look forward to the kickoff of the Gallatin Valley Land Trust’s (GVLT) annual Summer Trails Challenge.
GVLT Summer Trails Challenge
GVLT is a local nonprofit and commonFont community partner whose mission is to connect the people of the Gallatin Valley to public lands. This mission deeply aligns with commonFont’s commitment to the communities and places where we have offices. As a five-year sponsor of GVLT’s Summer Trails Challenge we’re excited to encourage awareness of the Gallatin Valley’s extensive local trail system, as well as to inspire a commitment to the place where our team lives and works. Not only does this campaign encourage folks to get outside and on the trails, GVLT also receives $1 for each mile walked, biked, or hiked, which means more trails for our growing community. The best part? The challenge is accessible and everyone can participate – regardless of income, availability, or fitness level.
Community and Spirit of Service
At commonFont, we recognize that the communities in which we operate and call home are essential to creating an environment for our teammates to flourish. Our commitment to the community includes company-supported direct service, advocacy, and financial support. Specifically, we put special emphasis on organizations that serve our communities in the following ways:
- Direct service to people in need and particularly, our most vulnerable communities.
- The enjoyment, protection, and preservation of our natural resources.
This is why GVLT is an important partner to commonFont as we sponsor the Trails Challenge, volunteer for team trail maintenance days, and recreate responsibility on our community trails.
commonFont Culture
At commonFont, we truly care about people and community. We believe that a healthy and thriving company culture is more than just free food and an office keg (although we appreciate those things, too). Rather, we believe it’s about supporting our teammates with professional development, solid work-life balance, opportunities to thrive and grow, and commitment to our mission to serve our three key stakeholders: our team, clients, and community.
With this Summer Trails Challenge, we’re stoked to get outside together, celebrate the natural beauty of Montana, and help our community thrive.
